Testimonials
Dear Mr.
Morel,
At its recent meeting, the Board of Trustees of
the Fort at No 4 Museum voted
unanimously to express its gratitude for your
work in the Great Hall. We applaud the masterful
work that you and your team have been doing on
repairing the Fort's decaying timberwork.
For decades, the roof valleys have directed
significant quantities of water toward
vulnerable sections of the heavy-timber walls,
especially in the Great Hall. History finally
caught up with us! Your team has done a superb
job in sistering-in replacement timbers in the
Great Hall.
We also appreciate your thoughtfulness in
cleaning up the job site for our big French &
Indian War re-enactment weekend on 4-5 June. For
many people, both re-enactors and visitors
alike, that weekend was their introduction to
the Fort at No 4. Your attention to
making the site presentable for the weekend
(despite work-in-progress) will surely help us
build an audience for the futures.
With admiration and gratitude for your superb
craftsmanship, I am, Sir,
Your Most Humble and Obedient Servant,
Nicholas Westbrook
Vice Chair and Secretary
Board of Trustees, the Fort at No 4
For
nearly ten years now, Bob Morel has been helping
me renovate and convert an old barn in western
Massachusetts into a dwelling. In all the work
he has done for and with me, I have found him to
be more than competent, utterly honest,
reliable, thoughtful, and above all,
imaginative. By this last quality, I mean that
he excels at both solving problems (at several
levels) and at grasping opportunities when they
present themselves.
Anyone who wants to talk to me directly about
Bob's work can call me at 617-484-3517 or at
413-625-0090.
The
best part of working with Bob Morel was how well
he listened to us, interpreted our ideas and
made them work. He was creative in
problem-solving and willing to offer suggestions
as alternative solutions for us to consider. We
were reluctant to take on such a large project,
but Bob made it possible and affordable. He is a
master! For additional information, contact us
